Firebreather’s SerumThis bright red potion is spicy and warm to the touch. When you drink this potion, you gain a magical reserve of power that you can expend to breathe fire. This magical reserve lasts for 1 hour. Twice during the serum’s duration, you can breathe fire in a cone-shaped burst as a standard action. A creature damaged by this fire can succeed at a Reflex saving throw to take half damage. The range of this cone, the damage dealt, and the DC of the Reflex saving throw is determined by the serum’s mark. After breathing fire, you can’t breathe fire again for 1 minute.SerumsSerums are vials of magic liquid that you can imbibe as a standard action or carefully trickle down the throat of a helpless or unconscious creature as a full action. Serums are normally 1 ounce of liquid (though it is possible to make serums with larger volumes, these are no more effective than standard serums), and lose potency if they are mixed with any other material. A serum can be used only once. Regardless of a serum’s actual item level, all serum vials have their hardness and Hit Points calculated as if they were 1st-level items.
