Gloves of Snaring

These gloves are the result of magical experiments to replicate witchwyrds’ natural ability to absorb certain magical attacks; they exhibit a very mild, almost magnetic attraction toward other magic items. As a reaction, you can use any of your free hands to catch the same number of magic missile projectiles fired at you (up to 3 missiles per day). Catching a missile absorbs it, creating a glowing nimbus around your hand (which is no longer considered free). This energy lasts 6 rounds, or until it is used to create a magical bolt that can be hurled as a magic missile at an opponent. To catch a magic missile projectile, you must be aware of it and can’t be flat-footed.
