The container must be no larger than 1 cubic foot per caster level, can have contents of up to 1 bulk per 2 caster levels, and can contain no sentient creatures. You can return the container to your space with a move action; this ends the spell. Every day, when you regain your spell slots, you can choose to expend a 4th-level spell slot to keep the targeted container on the Ethereal Plane for another day. If you choose not to do so, the container is lost on the Ethereal Plane and you can no longer recall it with this spell, though you can search for it in other ways. Time passes normally for the container and its contents.
