Functioning similarly to cybernetics, biotech items include modifications to your DNA combined with implants of biological origin that integrate into your physiology. Biotech mostly operates by the same rules as cybernetics and uses the same implantation slots.

Psychic Chatter

Brain matter from a corrovox (Alien Archive 110) implanted into your own mind emits a constant psychic background noise in your head. You eventually become inured to the effect and can concentrate normally, although you’re prone to headaches. You can focus this psychic noise into a damaging burst of mental static that emanates from you. If an opponent within 5 feet hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to deal the listed damage to that attacker. If your opponent’s attack roll is a natural 20, the attacker also gains the shaken condition for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting effect.
